NEVER in a million years did I see myself taking up a martial art. With over a year under my belt (pun intended!), THIS version of JESS is the most empowered she's EVER been in her body. π π»ββοΈ
Not too long ago, my body language and posture ALONE made me an easy target. As a woman, your body is always on guard, waiting for the next creep to try something.
We know it all too well: keys in the hand, head on swivel, always being sure of our surroundings before we get out of your car... I mean, the list goes on and on.
Something I learned though is it's not just about having the skills to defend your PHYSICAL body β your BODY language MATTERS...and this is what Rachel teaches you FIRST in our seminar.
From confident posture to assertive eye contact, you will learn how to communicate and protect yourself without saying a WORD.

Combining my love for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and knack for building community has allowed me to create opportunities and supportive environments that empower women to reconnect with their beautiful, authentic selves!
Once you get to know my raw and 'rough around the edges' style, you will understand why I dubbed myself your "no B.S. bestie". I will listen like a best friend, hold you accountable, AND encourage you to show up for yourself in ways that you didn't think possible (with lots of laughter, compassion, and f-bombs along the way!).

The greatest power we possess is the ability to set boundaries - both verbally & physically. In this seminar, you will learn boundary setting, assessing intentions, and deterring unwanted advances before they happen.
Additionally, we will run through scenarios to demonstrate techniques used by predators to catch you off guard.
